How much would it cost to change my airplane ticket?

King_Of_1993 asked:

My dads step brother recently bought me a ticket online, I’m wondering how much it would cost to change the ticket? I’m going to San Fran from Vancouver for 5 days. The 25th to 31st and I want to be home for new years eve. The airplane ticket says I’ll be back in Vancouver at 10:00 and I want to be home earlier. Ranging from a day to a few hours like 5:00 or 6:00 How much would it cost to change? It is Air Canada

Most likely you purchased a nonrefundable ticket and most airlines charge a fee for change plus any difference in fare of the ticket. Depending on how booked the flights are, it could range anywhere from $150 to $1,000. How bad do you want to change it?

Depends on the rules of your ticket, a quick call to Air Canada is your best option.
