Have you ever purchased an e-ticket on Air Arabia’s website (specifically from Istanbul-Dubai) and read the fine print that says any credit card used to purchase tickets online must be made visible at check-in. This is a problem for me because I use a family credit card, and just use the number to buy plane tickets online. No other airlines has ever asked to see the physical card I use to purchase tickets. My question is will a photocopy of the card satisfy the Air Arabia officials at Istanbul Sabiha airport? The card is back home with my family in Canada. They are sending me the photocopy by post now.

    Just call the closest Air Arabia office from your home and I’m assuming that currently you’re in Istanbul then the phone # is (0212) 2342088. Explain the situation to them and I’m sure they’ll give you some options. They do this to prevent any credit card fraud. I guess if the original CC holder can provide an authorization to the airline then I don’t see any problem with that but again only the airline can give you an exact answer to your query so just call them.
