Korean Air Skypass?

Lauren G asked:

Hi…
I would like to book a ticket on Korean Air online, but do I need to have a Skypass to do this? I want to book the ticket quite soon… will I be able to do it immediately after I sign up for a Korean Air skypass or will I have to wait until I receive my card?
Thanks…. :

Of course you can book and purchase a ticket without a Skypass card. Skypass is a frequent flyer program card for accumulating mileage points on your flight. You don’t need to wait for the delivery of your card; the card will be used right before your flight at the airport(when you check in your baggage and get a boarding pass!).

Korean Air is a member of Sky Team.
The full members of Sky Team are following:
Aeroflot, Aeroméxico, Air France, Alitalia, China Southern Airlines, Continental Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Korean Air, Northwest Airlines

    Hope these help.

you should be able to book online and sign up for Skypass at the same time. The miles from the flight will be usable.
